You are buying a managed outcome.

The price covers the scope, the specialists and the project management. It is not a public rate card of individual contractors.

AUD Plus GST Written scope One accountable process

Example prices

A figure follows the outcome.

One published example is a marketing website. Everything else is written against the brief you post. Delivery starts when you accept that scope.

Website redesign

Research, UX/UI, development, testing and project management, written as one scope.

$7,800 + GST

A useful benchmark when the outcome is a marketing site with a clear page set. A shop, a booking system or a large content migration changes the price.

Discovery and scope

A short engagement that turns an unclear outcome into deliverables, assumptions and a delivery plan.

Quoted after the brief

Use this when the result is real but the shape is not. The output is a plan you can accept, not a slide that still needs a project.

Managed monthly capacity

Ongoing design, marketing or product support with a named coordinator and a monthly plan.

Scoped monthly

A monthly plan after a project, or when the work is a steady stream of agreed outcomes rather than one handover.

Support after handover

Fixes, small changes or a next phase once the original project has been accepted.

Agreed per phase

Support is included only when the original scope says so. Otherwise it is its own phase.

01

What the price covers

The figure is for a managed outcome: the written scope, the specialists that scope needs, and the coordination through handover.

  • Deliverables, assumptions and milestones written down before delivery starts
  • The skills the work needs, managed as one project
  • A workspace for messages, files, approvals and invoices
  • A quality check before you are asked to accept the handover

The commercial basis is in the terms. The Australian business context is on for Australian businesses.

02

How a figure is reached

Post the outcome, the date that matters, and who approves the work. Hire Freelancer asks the questions that would change the deliverables, the date or the price. A clear brief is usually turned into those questions within a couple of business days, then a written scope and a price in AUD plus GST.

An incomplete brief gets questions first. Delivery starts when you accept the scope. The stages between the brief and that figure are on how it works. When you are ready, post a project.

03

GST and invoices

Prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST unless a quote says otherwise. The tax invoice shows GST. The published website example is $7,800 + GST for that reason: the amount on the page is the project price, and GST is added on the invoice.

The workspace lists the invoices for that project, next to the scope they belong to. A question about an amount, a due date or a tax invoice is sent by email, as described on contact.

04

What moves the number

A marketing website with a clear page set is the published example: research, UX/UI, development, testing and project management, written as one scope. A shop, a booking system or a large content migration is a different project, so the price moves with it.

A portal, an integration, a campaign, a brand, a prototype or a research piece is scoped to that outcome. These are shapes a business can post. Each one gets its own written price.

05

Changes and stopping

Work outside the written scope is a change. It is priced and agreed before it is added to the plan. A file or a message in the workspace does not, by itself, expand the scope. The project description can be updated until delivery starts.

Scoping can stop before delivery starts. Say so in the workspace or by email, and no price is due for work that was never agreed. Once delivery has started, work already done follows the agreed scope and price. A request to pause, reduce or end the project is handled as a change to that plan.

06

After the handover

Acceptance covers the agreed deliverables. Support, a fix or a next phase is its own agreement, unless the written scope already includes it. That later phase is priced on its own, the same way the original project was.

A monthly plan is for a steady stream of agreed outcomes, with a named coordinator. It is scoped for the month. It is for work you can describe in advance, such as design, marketing or product support after a project, or instead of a single handover.

Common questions

Is $7,800 the price of every website?

It is an example for a marketing website that includes research, UX/UI, development, testing and project management. A shop, a large migration or a custom web application is scoped on its own.

Does that figure include GST?

The published amount excludes GST. The tax invoice shows GST. A quote says so when a price is presented differently.

Are the amounts hourly rates?

You are buying a managed outcome tied to agreed deliverables, in AUD plus GST. The page is not a rate card of individual contractors.

When do I see a figure for my project?

After the brief is clear enough to write deliverables, assumptions and milestones. An incomplete brief gets questions first. A clear brief is usually turned into those questions within a couple of business days.

What if we stop while the scope is still being written?

Scoping can stop before delivery starts. No price is due for work that was never agreed.

Is support included?

Support is included only when the written scope says so. Otherwise a fix, a small change or a next phase is its own agreement.

Where do I see the invoice?

In the workspace for that project, next to the scope it belongs to. A question about the amount or the tax invoice goes to hello@hirefreelancer.com.au.

Start without a perfect brief

Start with the outcome. We will build the plan.

A sentence, a file, or a rough budget is enough to open the project. Clarifying questions come before any work is scoped.
